Description

The Endurance 725 Disc blends the timeless ride quality of Reynolds steel with modern road performance. The steel frame delivers the smooth, forgiving ride quality that steel is renowned for, helping take the edge off rough roads and longer days in the saddle. Paired with the dependable shifting of Shimano 105 12-speed, robust Mavic Aksium 1 wheels, fast-rolling Pirelli P Zero Road tyres and a unisex Selle Italia Model X Superflow saddle, it’s a road bike built to stay comfortable and capable as the miles roll by.

Groupset

Shimano 105 has long been the benchmark for performance at an accessible price, and the 7100 generation continues that tradition with a 12-speed drivetrain that delivers smooth, precise shifting across the full range. Hydraulic disc brakes provide confident, consistent stopping power in all conditions, while the wide gear range keeps long climbs and fast descents equally well covered. Built to reward every ride, it offers the refinement, reliability and confidence to enjoy every mile, whether you're exploring new roads or returning to your favourite routes.

Wheelset

Mavic Aksium wheels provide a dependable and efficient foundation for every ride, combining low weight with the durability needed for regular road riding. Paired with Pirelli P Zero Road 28 mm tyres, they deliver a smooth, confident ride feel with the grip, comfort and puncture protection needed to tackle everything from daily rides to longer weekend adventures.

Handlebars

Long rides demand a cockpit that's comfortable, predictable and easy to live with. The Ribble alloy handlebar and stem deliver exactly that, combining a natural hand position with responsive handling and durable construction. Whether you're heading out for a quick spin or an all-day ride, they provide the comfort and control to help you make the most of every mile.

Saddle

The right support can make all the difference on longer rides. A lightweight alloy seat post provides dependable performance, while the Selle Italia Model X saddle a performance saddle that balances lightweight construction with all-day support, making it well suited to longer rides where comfort and efficiency need to work together.

Frequently Asked Questions

Build weights are provided for a medium‑sized frame and are intended solely as general guidance. Actual weight will vary based on the selected components and accessories, as well as standard manufacturing tolerances. These figures do not constitute a guarantee or warranty of final product weight, and we may occasionally make minor modifications to specifications without prior notice.

  • The Reynolds 725 Steel frame weighs 2.1 kg, and the fully monocoque carbon forks weigh 470 g

The frame is handcrafted from Reynolds 725 triple-butted steel and features seamless welds, offering the premium looks and unmatched strength of the finest steel framesets. The tubing is produced in Birmingham, England, as it has been for well over a century.

We offer a lifetime warranty on all Ribble frames and forks for the original purchaser. This covers any manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship so you can ride with complete confidence. The standard manufacturer's warranty covers all other components.

Yes, all cables will be routed internally through the frame with the exception of the rear hydraulic brake hose if the bike is set up with a double groupset. If the bike is equipped with a 1x system all cables including the rear brake hose will be routed internally.

No, the Endurance 725 doesn't have rack mounts. Our ALLROAD range offers an excellent alternative for riders who want to carry luggage while retaining a pure road bike's pulse-racing speed and mile-eating efficiency.

There is ample clearance for 32 mm tyres (depending on the manufacturer and tread profile), which is reduced to 25 mm if mudguards are fitted.

No. Ribble bikes are supplied with inner tubes installed as standard, even when fitted with tubeless-ready wheels and tyres.

If you'd like to run a tubeless setup, the conversion must be carried out after delivery. This typically requires tubeless valves, sealant and, in some cases, tubeless rim tape depending on the wheel specification. We recommend following the wheel and tyre manufacturer's instructions when converting to tubeless.

This approach gives riders the flexibility to choose the setup that best suits their riding preferences and maintenance requirements.

Discreet mounts let you fit full-length mudguards with 25mm tyres, and in some cases, up to 28mm, depending on brand and tread.

Two, with one situated on the seat tube and one on the down tube.

The bottom bracket shell is a traditional BSA threaded 68 mm type.

The seatpost is 27.2 mm, with a seat clamp of 30.0 mm.

The Endurance 725 does not require a separate derailleur hanger. Instead, the hanger is integrated into the frame dropout, which means there’s no removable part to replace. If it ever gets knocked out of line, it can be realigned by a mechanic, making it a robust, low-fuss solution for everyday riding and long-term durability.

We recommend a maximum system weight of 120 kg (bike, rider & luggage).

We do not supply pedals with our bikes due to the various systems people use. However, when configuring your bike, you can select from a range of our best-selling pedals.
